Like spirit you claim God exists without proof. Right again. If i believed fairies were real because of the history or mythokogy behind their existence....it has just as much credibility does it not? If not, why?

Ruby--actually intelligence leads to discovery of facts....ignorance does not. Viviane and, I believe, everyone here would really like to just know some simple answers --what is spirit? Or What is it made of? Does it contain atoms?
Remember , there is wisdom is saying "I don't know". But so far there is not a shred of measurable evidence that would tell me its an entity of some sort but rather a metaphorical or figurative term used to describe traits that humans possess.
I think Ruby hit the nail on the head:
Spirit is not fact....that would make it what Ruby?

Update: well my wife and i are still looking to move, searching for work but she has come a long way....we know now this stuff is nuts! But we have to start over and move on! Enjoy nature and life and love! Life is so fantastic evenat its toughest when you have freedom

the rise may continue to be relatively slow for at least the next century or so, the scientists said, but sometime after that it will probably speed up so sharply as to become a crisis.. this is really happening, said thomas p. wagner, who runs nasas programs on polar ice and helped oversee some of the research.
theres nothing to stop it now.

I have yet to hear anything concrete or at least ausible as something that isnt metaphorical....and yet the Bible puts so much emphasis on this and Christians claim their "spirituality" is superior to ithers spirituality...well if you cant fully define, understand, measure, or somehow provide a clear idea about WHAT IT IS....how can you claim yours is superior to ANY other human being? Just because a book says so? There are so many books out there......think about it
